A man wanted on murder accusations in South Carolina by a fatal strike and running affair associated with a pedestrian Monday was arrested at Gainesville GA. Thursday.
The 43 -year -old William Barney Drumond of Westminster, Sk., Was arrested by the Gainesville Police Department and transported to the Hall County Prison, where he was waiting for extradition.
Drummond was charged with Oconee SC county. For Devon’s death
James Turner, 34, Monday. Oconee SC County Edition. The Sheriff’s service said Drumond was driving a black 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 when he had struck S. Highway 11 near E. Spearman Rd. Turner died in this clash.
The Gainesville Police Department said Drumond was found with a firearm and changed its appearance during his arrest.
The GPD did not release details about what led to Drummond’s arrest in Gainesville from the latest report.
