The man from Topeka accused of the murder of a reserve is found guilty of a voluntary murder – Wibw

Topeka, Kan. (Wibw) – The man from Topeka, accused of killing in 2024 at the reserve plant, pleaded guilty to a voluntary murder.

According to the record of the District Court of Shawni Co, Eddie Holmes, 65 years old from Topeka, had a hearing on Thursday, January 16, 2025. During the hearing, he pleaded guilty to a voluntary murder – after a sudden quarrel or passion leader. In return for a legal basis, a census of a criminal firearm was rejected.

Holmes was originally charged with second -degree premeditated murder.

Holmes is ready for sentence at 9:30 am on Monday, March 10th.

Authorities say Holmes shot and killed Reinald hunted on April 11, 2024 on the SE 10th and Kelam. The location was the fine foods of the outer tanks in Topeka, Khan.
