A 54-year-old Birmingham man was killed and a man from Trussvil was injured when the pickup in which they were in the air after leaving the highway early on Friday morning in Marego County, authorities said.
James W. Evans, 54, drove the Ford F-150 for 2023 at about 3:30 am on Friday when the truck left the 80s, went through private driving and became air before landing, said Alabama Agency for Right Application Alabama CPL. The Regional King.
Evans, who did not wear a seat belt during the crash about six miles west of Uniontown, was taken to the Whitfield Regional Hospital in Demolis, where he died of his injuries.
A 46-year-old man from a trustee, who was a passenger to the pickup, was taken to the Whitfield Regional Hospital for the treatment of undisclosed injuries.
Additional information was inaccessible as state soldiers continued to investigate the remains.
