The man dies after being trapped in a palm tree – ABC News 4

Las Vegas (KSNV) – A man was found unconscious and later declared dead after being trapped about 25 feet up into a palm tree in Las Vegas.

The emergency call was received at 15:17 and in Las Vegas Fire & Rescue and the North Las Vegas Fire Service responded to the scene, according to authorities.

Authorities say the man has trimmed the tree and the lack of staff and equipment may have contributed to the accident.

According to LFVR, time is unlikely to play a role in this incident.

The Sofia Police Department in Las Vegas was also called to manage the Bonanza Road traffic in both directions.

The first rescue unit arrived within five minutes and an offensive strategy for the rescue of the individual began.

However, the man did not respond on his arrival and was declared dead at the scene, officials say.
