The new Lexus dealer is scheduled for Tallahassee, marking another luxury car brand designed to enter the market.
Located on 3800-1 W. Tennessee, the new dealer will be located in the same property as the Peter Boulware Toyota dealer. Lexus is the Toyota Luxury Vehicle Department, the Japanese carmaker, and was established in 1989.
The brand produces a range of high -end cars known for its steadfast, but also reliability, according to the automotive industry analysts.
Early permit materials describe the project as “a two -storey building with the first floor about 31 260 square feet, and the second floor about 12,102 square feet (in a total of 43 362 square feet). The building will include a sales/showroom area, service and parts.”
Owner Peter Bulue said he had purchased the property of 25 acres years ago with the intention of expanding at the right time, adding that the new Lexus dealer would not be much larger than his existing Toyota dealer.
Lexus joins other luxury car brands in Capital
More luxury brands of cars plant roots in Talahasi.
This spring, Capital Eurocars debuted a new Porsche car dealership and has a combined Volvo and Volkswagen dealer in the process of building. The company also introduced BMW/Jaguar/Land Rover Moster, debuted on 1485 Capital Circle NW in May 2023.
About Lexus, Boulware said, far away.
“The Lexus brand will not be the volumetric store we have with Toyota,” Boulware said. “We are just super excited about the opportunity to bring a luxury product to the Talahassi area.”
In anticipation of approval and construction of permits, Boulware said he hoped the new dealer would be open and operative by the end of 2025 or early 2026.
“We have many customers who drive Lexus in this market but are not represented by franchise,” Boulware said. “So just getting the opportunity to be able to present franchise and be able to serve these clients, I cannot tell you how many customers are the customers of Lexus who sigh relief.”
