The last second second Dre Davis lifts No. 25 Mississippi along the LSU 72-70-the Associated Press

Baton Rouge, La. (AP) -Dre Davis tilted into the missed stack of Sean Pedula with 0.1 seconds left at Cap No. 25 Mississippi 72-70 win over LSU on Saturday night.

The rebels (18-6, 7-4 Southeastern Conference) left 70-65 before Pedulla made two free throws to start a match 7-0.

Jaemyn Brikefield tied it to a 3-indicated 45 seconds. Davis, who had 22 points and seven rebounds, then returned the misuse of the purd. Initially, employees ruled that the basket was not good because of the offensive door. But they turned the call after examining the instant replay – and Ole Miss received the victory.

The trial scored 17 points, Brekfield had 11 points and eight rebounds, and Matthew Murel added 10 points and nine rebounds.

Kam Carter had 16 points for LSU (12-11, 1-9) who lost their sixth rights. Daimion Collins had 15 points and Jordan Sears had 13.

Mississippi: The rebels left the LSU 39-33 at the half, but it was not exactly a position of discomfort for the rebels. Entering this one, Mississippi lags behind the half in four of his six wins in SEC.

LSU: When the tigers lost to the rebels 77-65 in Oxford on January 11, Mississippi’s front line of Malik Dia, Breckfield and Davis combined for 45 points and 28 rebounds. LSU was holding Dia, Breckfield and Davis up to 12 points and five fights in the first half before the rebel trio had 22 points and 12 rebounds in the second.

After Carter missed a contested driving, two free Pedulla throws by 1:29 to the left decreased the tigers’ lead to 70-67. LSU Corey Redy missed two free throws with 1:05 left and Brakefield tied it to its 3.

LSU and Mississippi put a clinic on how to miss free throws, combining to make only 32 of 54 of the line. The tigers went 12 for 25, and the rebels were 20 out of 29.
