The Kansas Lawn & Garden Show opens on Thursday at Topeka’s Storpeka event Center – Wibw

Topeka, Kan. (Wibw) – Although February may be a little too cold to plant a garden or fertilize your lawn in Topeka and northeast Kansas, it’s never too early to plan these activities.

To help you prepare for the spring season, the Kansas Lawn & Garden show returns this week at the Stormont Vail Event Center, near the SW 19th Street and Topeka Boulevard.

The show will be held from 1 to 8 pm Thursday, February 6; 10:00 to 19:00 Friday, February 7; And from 9:00 to 17:00 Saturday, February 8th.

The organizers of the event said it would include extended exhibits; new suppliers; family attractions; practical activities for children; and interactive displays.

“This is our second year back,” said Belinda Allen of the Kansas Lawn & Garden show. “You will see that we have added landscapers, a greenhouse and we received all the other landscaping to increase their displays.

“We have a gift throughout the day on Thursday for Lucky present, free comedy show on Friday and giving away $ 200 on Saturday. We need the public to continue doing this show priority and will continue to do it more and more every year. Our plans for 2026 are already underway. “

The reception is $ 10 a day or $ 21 for a three -day pass. Adult citizens receive a 50% discount on Thursday and Friday. Children of 15 and floor are accepted free.
