A District Court judge dismissed a case that tried to force Washo County to investigate the requests for business addresses that were incorrectly used in some voter registrations.

In Nevada, it is against the law to register to vote at an address where you do not live. Pilf wanted employees of the Washoe County Election to view addresses to clean the voter rollers, and he claims he was hurt because they didn’t.

Judge Conni Steinheimer decided that PILF was not harmed and therefore had no legal position to bring a case.
“The court is unable to distinguish the alleged injury suffered by PILF,” she writes. “PILF can continue its basic and current businesses to promote the election integrity in Nevada and other countries.”
Pilf did not answer a request for comment.
“Washoe County is seriously treating allegations of eligibility for voters and continues to strive to improve its processes and operations regarding voters and elections,” said election spokesman George Gutri in a statement to The Reno Gazette Journal. “We are proud of the work that our employees do to maintain the voter rollers and we will continue to work with the Secretary of State to conduct lists maintenance activities.”
Washo County investigates suspect addresses for voter registration
An aspect that came out in December’s oral arguments to Judge Steinheimer, but this was not mentioned in her decision is that Washo County investigated the suspect addresses.
In a letter from October from the Washo County District Prosecutor’s Office to the PILF Legal Council, the county said that of 48 voter registration was addressed to PILF when it had tortured that about 40 had already been noted inactive or canceled, while the rest require additional investigation S
