The judge dismisses the case of a mom to a man killed by Lapd employees in Wilmington – Mynewsla.com

A judge has scheduled a hearing for later this month regarding the presentation of the city of Los Angeles for a proposed decision rejected by a black man shot by police in Los Angeles in Wilmington in 2022.

Diana Dodd, the mother of the late 31-year-old Reinald Humphrey, brought the case to the High Court in Los Angeles, claiming that civil rights violations, negligence, attack and battery and a fake prison. She claims that her son was the victim of an “infected fire” by officers acting in accordance with her aggressive colleagues.

The City Prosecutor’s Office maintains that there are no triangular problems in the case and on January 24, Judge Gail Kilfer provided the city’s proposal to reject the case. The judge scheduled a hearing on February 28 on the presentation of the city of a proposed decision.
