Miami (WSVN) – the local baseball player who officially plays for New York Yankees, has received a warm hometown on an exhibition game against Miami Marlins.

The Yankee hunter JC Escarra said his entrance to the big leagues did not happen overnight. He went through the secondary leagues of 2017 before playing with Baltimore Oriols until 2022.

When out of the baseball field, he worked as a Uber driver and a replacement teacher to finish the edges.

But on Tuesday, Escara, a graduate of the International University of Florida and Mater Academy, appeared at Loandepot Park to play an exhibition game against his team in his hometown.

“If one of the hyaliah does it, you know, we all do it, so I appreciate love from everyone there,” he said.

Several viewers who watched the game took pictures with Escar, who also saw his family and friends and signed every autograph he could.

“I’m here in Miami, my hometown, I have my family here, friends,” he said. “God opened the door to me to make the dream come true.”

Escra is involved in the practice of vatting where he crushed the terrain.

The game happened days after Yankees Aaron Boone’s manager put the escara into his office to enable him for life.

Although at first it did not sound as if it were chosen, the surprise and tears were felt throughout the country.

“If it was good news, I expected more people in the room, but when I saw only it, I was upset a little,” he said.

Boone said the way he originally presented the news was planned.

“You have to throw him a little fake pump, you know,” he said. “What a remarkable trip was for him because he’s a really good player and because he won it.”

But in the end, it was the biggest news that Esara received.

“But he hit me with the great news and my life changed afterwards,” Escara said.

Moments after receiving the news, he called his family at home in Miami.

“Incredibly, so many emotions. [My mother has] I was with me from the beginning – the good, the bad, the good, the ugly, ”said Escra. “I thought I could hold him, but after seeing her crying, I started to break.”

It was a full circle for the Hialeah baseball player.

“This is my home. It will be my forever home. Thank you, everyone, for the support, and here,” said Escara.

In 2012, when she was 17 years old, Esca published a photo on the social media of the Marliners Balpark labeled “One Day”. Flash forward for more than a decade and his day finally came.

Tha Marlins won an exhibition game on Tuesday 4-2.
