LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Our fall-like temperatures are dropping as quickly as they arrived, with a big warm-up expected tomorrow.
Highs today still range in the 1970s, mostly toward the upper end. Lubbock expects around 77, with mostly sunny skies and a light breeze.
Tomorrow, however, moderate west and southwest breezes bring warmth and dryness to the area, bringing us back into the upper 80s. Winds worsen Monday and Tuesday, with highs remaining in the upper 80s and low 90s.
The front Wednesday drops our temperatures significantly, first into the upper 70s Wednesday and then into the upper 60s Thursday. The chance of rain also increases towards the end of the work week.
