The Faculty of Law in Vermont offers tax assistance – WCAX

Burlington, Vt. (Wcax) – The tax season is here and it comes with a fright.

Vermont law and postgraduate are here to help.

The South Royalton School hosts a Vermont income tax site (VITA), sponsored by the Internal Revenue Service.

This is one of the many sites created and open throughout the country.

Volunteers from the IRS or Vermont Ministry of Taxes will submit federal and state taxes electronically for older Vermonters and taxpayers with family income of $ 67,000 or less.

Some sites also serve taxpayers with limited English proficiency.

You need to register for meetings and you can plan by calling 802-831-1363.

The tax day is April 15.
