From the desert to the sea to all of southern California, Earth continues to shake in the golden state.

At 9:50 pm Monday, February 17, an earthquake of magnitude 3.0 turned 10 miles northeast of Barrestou in the Mojave Desert, according to US geological studies.

The earthquake was in the natural area of ​​the rainbow pool, known for geological and paleontological characteristics, multicolored rock formations and picturesque canyons. A variety of desert adapted wild animals, including the desert turtle, are found here, according to the Earth Management Bureau.

Barrestou Georgia Marshall resident told The Daily Press that the earthquake felt “like a vibration phone that comes out in your pocket or bag.”

February earthquakes

The US geological survey reported the following earthquake in or near South California:

  • 14:16 Saturday, February 15, Quake magnitude 3.5, hit about seven miles south of Idyllwild east of Hemet in Riverside County.
  • Shortly after 6:30 on Saturday, February 15, approximately the trembling of 3.5 magnitude applied about 6.8 miles from Malibu in Los Angeles County.
  • At 23:44 Friday, February 14th, an earthquake of magnitude 3.7 struck approximately seven miles northwest of Malibu.
  • At 9:44 on Monday, February 10, an earthquake of magnitude 3.5 happened about 3 miles northeast of San Bernardino and near the San Andreas Faul.
  • At 9:48 pm Monday, February 10th, Quake Magnitud 3.0 turned 3 miles northeast of San Bernardino.
  • At 9:58 pm Monday, February 10, a magnitude 3.6 quake was reported about 3 miles northeast of San Bernardino.
  • At 13:57 Monday, February 10th, an earthquake of magnitude 2.8 turned 6 miles northeast of Okotolo Wales and east of the sea Salton in San Diego County.
  • At 2:23 pm Monday, February 10th, a magnitude 3.2 quake happened about 9 miles northeast of Little Lake, right north of Inyokern in Kern County.
  • At 4:22 pm Wednesday, February 5th, a magnitude 2.8 quake happened 6 miles southwest of a crown in Riverside County.

There were no instant messages of injuries or damage due to any of the earthquakes.
