Police said the incident early on Sunday morning near 81 street and an Indian school road.

Scottsdale, Ariz. – The driver was arrested after they were struck in a pedestrian while driving in Scotsdale early on Sunday morning, according to authorities.

The Scottsdale Police Department said the incident happened around 3:45 hrs near 81st street and an Indian school road.

The pedestrian has life -threatening injuries, police said. Update their condition is not available.

The road is partially closed as police are investigating the incident.

Police said sails to the east were open, but 82nd street west to Hayden Road is closed.

The names of the participants were not released.
