The 38 -year -old John Ropper of Dominion Road, Doncaster, was banned from driving for six months after being convicted of A66 speeding.
The case was heard in the Peterley Magistrate Court on Thursday, February 13, 2025.
The court heard that on March 24, 2024, Ropper was caught exceeding the speed limit of 70 miles / h while driving Volkswagen at the A66 in Galley Bank, Barnard Castle.
The crime was discovered with the help of manned equipment.
Magistrates have imposed a fine of 146 British pounds, along with an extra charge of a victim of £ 58 and £ 110 costs for the prosecutor’s office, resulting in its overall financial penalty to £ 314.
A collection order was made, which requires the full amount to be paid by March 13, 2025.
