The doctor pleads guilty to writing illegal prescriptions of Opiod – Mynewsla.com

A doctor who operates clinics in Santa Ana and Ingelwood pleaded guilty on Friday for writing opioid recipes for undercover officers.

Dr. John Michael Carzelius of Camarilo, 72, pleaded guilty to a conspiracy for the spread of oxycodone. It is planned to be sentenced on August 4.

From 2017 and in January 30, 2020, Carzelius participated in a conspiracy with others to divide oxycodone without medical purposes, according to his legal basis agreement.
