Police Chief and College Director Cuesta College Rich Randolph withdrawn from Police Department at the College of QuestaS His last day at college was February 12th.
For the past few days, working for college, Randolph has looked back at his role and impact for two and a half years working for Cuesta College.
“It was my first job that I was a boss and I like it,” Randolph said. “The best part is actually to influence. A special person is needed to be a cop and it is necessary for a really special person to be a school cop. ”
One of Randolph’s ultimate goals at work for college was to increase campus visibility and reduce the negative stigma around law enforcement.

“I made sense to start working on a network with Associated Students from College Questa (ASCC)And students meet with teachers and academic senate and get on social media, making sure that my staff has come out and visible, “Randolph said. “I wanted to overtake all this and I think I did a pretty decent job.”
Randolph also discussed his plans for the future and where he would work after Questa.
“I will become the police chief for a unified school district of the fountain in San Bernardino County,” Randolph said. “I was a cop there years ago and I leave San Louis Obyspo in the middle of the day of February 12th and I start this Thursday morning.”
Chef Randolph discussed what he learned about being able to enforce work specifically in Questa.
“I learned a lot about academic circles,” Randolph said. “We are a police department that is not driven by articles, but I treat visibility, adaptability, and we guarantee that people feel safe.”
