Following the Cuban-American Congressman, Carlos Gimenes, for his official request to the Ministry of Finance, completely suspend money and travel to Cuba, many Cubans reacted.

In a study conducted on the Cuba Facebook website in Miami, many Cubans gave their opinion and, as expected, the reactions were mixed.

Many exile Cubans have supported Gimenez’s decision to call for the termination of the journey and translations of Cuba as the only way to stop the Cuban regime funding.

“How long will they continue to be so shameless? There are many Cubans here as my family, who arrived in 1980 and could not even travel to Cuba or send something for 15 years, so what do some Cubans complain about?

“Let’s end socialism once and for all for everyone, and we all go there by boat and take the island,” said another Cuban.

“A total iron fist against this communist fascism, absolutely nothing. While the money continues to enter, people will go out to the street to bring down this malicious government,” another Cuban said.

“I wonder that many people spoke or criticized Cuba when no one could enter because their government would not allow them and their families to die without even saying goodbye. There are many Cubans today, whose government has to reject them.

On the other hand, another group of Cubans reacted with rejection, claiming that it would harm Cuban families.

“I have no heart. If I stop helping my family, they will be in a terrible situation. If they take this measure, people will suffer and the government does not curses,” said a Cuban woman.

“It’s very difficult for the family still inside, but it is necessary to see if it eventually explodes, so we have to try something,” said another Cuban woman.

“I’m not traveling to Cuba, but my 84-year-old grandmother will provide him with food and medicines. I am against the Cuban dictatorship, but not with my Cuban siblings,” another said.

“Of course, we all want Cuba to be free for our families and for all those people who cannot accept it. But we must be realistic. Anyone who sends a package to their family does not send it to the government; they send it to their family.

Congressman’s announcement Carlos Gimenes continues to generate buzzing in the Cuban community. What do you think?
