Spickard, Mo. (KCTV) – A man from Trenton faces more than a dozen criminal charges after harassing the victims of a continuing sex crime case and led employees of the pursuit authorities before entering the Spickard Chitalishte.
Grundi County, Missouri, the court records filed on Wednesday, February 12, revealed that Mackenzie L. Harvey, 28 years old from Trenton, was accused of allegedly harassed the family of minors in a current sex crime case.
A statement of a probable reason filed by the Sheriff Service to Grundi County said the investigation found that between June and August 2024, Harvey had sexual encounters with a minor repeatedly.
Shortly after 1:40 on Wednesday, law enforcement officers said they had been called to a Spikard home with reports that Harvey had parked his car outside the victim’s home.
Callers reported that Harvey continued to wave horns and harass those inside, including a pregnant woman. Before arriving law enforcement officers, he used a wooden club and an ax to damage the vehicle on the alley.
Investigators noted that Harvey had done this to discourage victims to continue the prosecution of the initial sexual offenses.
When first reacting arrived, they said Harvey joined a patrol vehicle and tried to speed up his Ford F-150 of 1996. He led law enforcement officers for a brief pursuit through the snow before colliding at the Chitalishte of Spickard.
Investigators said they had surrounded Harvey when he refused to get out of his vehicle. Physical strength is considered necessary to remove it from the pickup before it is taken. He caused at least $ 1,500 in the community center and the patrol vehicle during the pursuit.
Law enforcement officers noted that Harvey admitted to the crimes during an interview.
As a result, Harvey was charged with three charges of property damage, two allegations of legal rape, harassment, a victim of a crime case, a resistance to arrest, a confusion in peace and various movement disorders.
As of Thursday, Harvey remains behind bars. The initial appearance was scheduled for 3:50 pm on February 13.
