Claveland, Ohio-only a few weeks ago, Darius Garland was not sure if he would be all-Star. He had a plan for emergencies, made only in case he did not hear his name, called as a reserve on January 30th.
Now the Cavs point guard is completely immersed in the All-Star Weekend.
Garland will participate in the 3-point competition in San Francisco before the All-Star 2025 game. He will compete against Jalen Brunson, Cade Kuningham, Tyler Hero, Budi Hynd, Cameron Johnson, Damian Lillard and Norman Powell.
The 25-year-old shoots at the best percentage of 3 points (42.9%) as part of the best overall season of his six-year career at the NBA.
Two-time All-Star, Garland is an rising star in the league and the ability to put his skills and talent on the biggest stage will only support his campaign.
