The calls are piling up against Kyrie Irving as YouTube streamer follows in rival Kai Cenat’s footsteps – EssentiallySports

The memories of Kyrie Irving dancing with Kai Cenat are still fresh in my mind. The moves of Dallas’ brightest star have the Internet talking. Who knew that outside of the hustle and bustle of the NBA, there was a hip-hop artist in it? But wait, there’s something else coming for the 32-year-old 1x champion. And it looks like someone is following Cenat’s lead to include Kyrie in their streaming.

Well, it could be a blockbuster or a big, big disaster, but one of YouTube’s biggest names is collaborating with Irving. Nicolas Ken De Balintazi, better known as Sneako, informed on Saturday:

“I have a big flow on Tuesday. I’m going to New Jersey to stream at Kyrie Irving’s house. Big shout out to Kyrie Irving. I’ve been talking to him for a few weeks now. He was very busy. It’s a busy season but he randomly hit me up and we talked a little bit and he said I could stream at his house.”

If you’re a fan of Kai or Sneako or both, mark January 28th on your calendars. It could be a treat for the fans. But knowing the reputation that Sneako has had in the past, Kyrie Irving fans are worried about their favorite star. Thus, pleading with the Mavericks star, die-hards want the star to back away from streaming plans. Meanwhile, there is outrage.

Fans express concern and frustration as Kyrie Irving gives Sneako a thumbs up

“Kai Cenat did it first Sneako is just a follower trying to impress my goat Kai,” – pointed out a fan. Well, as mentioned before, Kyrie Irving and Kai Cenat’s Thanksgiving collaboration kind of broke the internet. It was sheer joy from the basketball icon that sent social media buzzing with delight. The dance moves and little jokes he dropped were moments fans enjoyed. But the kind of doubt and skepticism they have around the whole Sneako streaming thing is very palpable.

And why not? Sneako’s reputation on the Internet is not great. The 26-year-old streamer, known for his controversial conservative views and reckless social criticism, lost his YouTube account in 2022. for spreading misinformation. But on October 20, 2024 YouTube unexpectedly brought it back — only to close the door again mere hours later, this time for good. Now back, Sneako has caused concern among Irving fans. So one of them said in disbelief: “I can’t believe Kyrie is doing this bro.” followed by an image of the shocked Homelander, the anti-hero from the popular series The Boys.

Meanwhile, someone mocks: “And that just came in. Irving got hurt and can’t do it.” Well, Kyrie has indeed been dealing with injuries for a while now. He has missed quite a few games recently. His lumbar sprain in his lower back is a big concern for the team. However, the star was on the floor against the OKC Thunder on Thursday, scoring 24 points in a 121-117 win against the beasts of the West. But then, will the fan’s imagined injury or manifestation become reality and stop the plans? Certainly not.

“Kyrie is boring as hell” someone remarked. Could this be it? NBA action can be stressful and monotonous for players at times. But for someone who has played the sport his whole life and spent 14 seasons in the league, that feels like a stretch. Moreover, Kyrie’s 8 All-Star Game selections and championship with the Cleveland Cavaliers show that he is not “bored as hell.” Then why did he agree to join hands with Sneako? This is the answer fans want to know.

Another fan sounds clearly disappointed when he comments: “Of all streamers man,” followed by a GIF of Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry sitting courtside chewing on his mouth guard. See, fans are worried because Kyrie Irving has already been in controversy in the past by posting something anti-Semitic on social media. So fans don’t want history to repeat itself. They are worried to say the least.
