The California man died in a fatal crash I -15 north of Las Vegas – Fox 5 Las Vegas

Las Vegas, Nev. (Fox5) -66-year-old man from California died on the I-15 north of Las Vegas, police say.

The State Police in Nevada said the crash happened in the afternoon on Sunday, February 2 to the south I-15 and a mile marker. Police say it is 54 miles north of the center of Las Vegas.

Police claim that Rick Anthony Lopicolo of Pinon Hills, California, has been driving a Ford Ranger pickup truck since 2008 in the final left travel lane. He failed to stay in the tape and travels to the central median, hitting a paddle marker.

Police say the driver headed to the right and lost control. The driver is thrown out of the vehicle. He died in place.

The investigation is conducted by the Department of Murders of Traffic on the Nevada highway. 2025 to date: The highway highway in Nevada in Region 1 (South) has investigated 8 fatal catastrophes leading to 8 deaths.
