Jazz Day Girls Traveling Master Class for Female Improvisory Musicians from high school high school will be held 9:00 am-16 March March 2 at the Idyllwild Academy at Idyllwild.
Jazz Day Girls, founded by Colin Clark in 2021 and supported through their position at the University of South Carolina, includes master classes, sweet and concert sessions.
The day of jazz girls is designed to help overcome the difference between the gender of women in jazz by encouraging girls to learn jazz while building a supportive community, according to a news message. There is no audition and different levels of experience are welcome.
The program is presented in other states, but this is the first time it was offered in California, the statement said.
The day of jazz girls is open to girls aged 10 to 18 years and there is no fee, but registration of iDyllwildarts.org/event/jazz-girls-day-id-idylwild-arts/.
