Damian Valdez Galoso, who was arrested in connection with the death of Cuban artist El Tiger, is now facing official first -degree murder accusations. The prosecutor’s office has raised these revised charges and the issue is already under the jurisdiction of Judge Milton Hirsch in the Miami-Dad District Court.
Last October, a 37-year-old man named Jose Manuel Carvajal Gulf, known as El Tiger, was found in a vehicle with a firearm in the head. He died of his injuries a few days later at the Jackson Memorial Hospital.
A large jury returned charges against Damian Valdez Galoso, which led to an indictment. His agreement is scheduled for 9:00 on January 30.
The defendants will be presented by lawyer Kelly Peterson Marcel, who will be responsible for presenting the arguments during the process.
The court documents reveal that the defendant faces three serious charges:
- First degree murder: A crime that can lead to life imprisonment or death penalty in Florida.
- FEELING EVIDENCE: A charge related to the possible change or elimination of crime -related evidence.
- Illegal possession of a firearm by a criminal: an accusation that the person illegally owns a firearm, despite prior condemnation.
The hearing scheduled for Thursday will officially start the criminal case against Valdez Galoso, where Judge Hirsch is expected to evaluate the allegations and decide on more courting.
