The 6-month-old dies in a hot car after being forgotten by a parent: Sheriff-National Bureau

He is 6 months dead after being left in a hot car in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

The Sheriff’s Service in East Baton Rouge said the deputies responded on Tuesday at 5:46 pm for a minor.

“Detectives have learned that the 6-month-old man was found died by his parent in the back seat of the car,” according to officers.

When the parent went to take the child from kindergartens after work, they realized that they had forgotten to release the child this morning, the Sheriffe cabinet said.

The investigation is ongoing.

The heat index in Baton Rouge reached 112 degrees on Tuesday.

The sheriff’s service told ABC News that Coroner would autopsy to determine how long the baby was in the vehicle.

According to kidsandcars.org, at least 16 children have been killed in hot cars in the United States so far this year.
