The 50501 protest reaches Capitol in New Mexico – New Mexico Source

Hundreds of demonstrators against Trump passed around the round house in Santa Fe as part of the “50501” protests that take place In the United States On Wednesday.

They chanted slogans such as Impeich Trump and Musk deportation referring to Technological Billionaire Elon Musk, who leading The so -called “Ministry of Government Government Government”.

Virgil Roberts said he heard about the protest on social media and was present because many of his relatives are Mexico immigrants who have moved here, “hoping for this better life” and because his friends are strange and rely on Medicaid and other government services.

Roberts spoke on a shared megaphone about his father, who immigrated from Mexico and served in the US Army and inspired his brother to join.

“They struggled to protect this country and to keep freedom in this country – only for the government to throw it back into its faces,” Roberts said.

“I think this is a transvestite what is happening and that our rights are being taken away,” Roberts said. “It contains the fact that the Presidency and the Government are transferring our country to billionaires who are not interested in people, they only take care of filling their pockets.”

Roberts was originally from El Passo and moved to Albukerke in 2020 and stayed here because he loves New Mexico. “I want to fight for both places,” he said.
