RALEIGH, NC – 12th-ranked NC State men’s soccer (8-2-5, 3-2-2) heads west to Winston-Salem to take on Wake Forest (7-4-5, 3-2-2 ) for Friday night’s regular-season finale to determine conference tournament seeding.
Kickoff at Spry Stadium is set for 7:00 p.m., and the game will be televised on ACC Network Extra with stats here .

• Friday’s game marks the 52nd meeting between the Wolfpack and Demon Deacons. NC State is looking to beat Wake Forest for the first time since 2005 and earn its first win in Winston-Salem since 1993.
• The streak began in 1979, and the two have competed every year since then.

• The Wolfpack has been ranked (United Soccer Coaches Poll) in five of the 10 weeks of the season so far. In doing so, they marked their first time in the top-25 since the 2019 season. The Week 10 rankings put NC State at No. 12, their highest ranking since the 2018 season. • NC State was picked to finish 11th in the competitive Atlantic Coast Conference, which featured five of the top 10 teams in the country prior to the season.

• Scored an impressive 5-1 win over No. 10 SMU at home to record the first win in the rankings Mark Hubbard era. It was also the program’s first top-10 win since October 2018.
