Texas police launch renewed efforts to find Reno woman missing since 2018 – KOLO

RENO, Nev. (COLO) – Police in Texas are renewing efforts to locate a Reno woman who traveled to Texas and has been missing since 2018.

The Texas Department of Public Safety says there is renewed interest in the case of then-19-year-old Caitlin Dennison based on new information they say was gathered by the Texas Rangers.

Police say that on January 9, 2018, Dennison met up with a man she was traveling with in Midland, Texas. The man is known to have worked as a truck driver in the Permian Basin oil industry.

Police believe Dennison stayed with the man in his RV, which may have been parked in West Odessa, Texas. The RV was then moved to a location in Midland on January 10th.

Dennison told family and friends that she was at the Midland Walmart store with the man but feared for her life. Denison last had contact with his family on January 10, 2018.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Texas Rangers at 1-800-346-3243.
