The Texas Longhorns will be one of the possible five schools that will receive a four -star 2026 Tank King on the official visit this summer.
As it was first reported by CHAD SIMMONS from ON3.com, King already has three official visits, starting with Texas A&M Aggies on June 5th. He will then go to Austin and visit Longhorns the next weekend, June 13, before heading north to Notre Dame on June 20.
King is a four -star liner rating in the 247SSTS Composite via port Arthur, Texas. The product of the Memorial High School is ranked as the 12th Best Linker in the class, No. 21 of the Lone Star perspective and ranks No. 174 as a whole on a national scale.
Although on the smaller side for the linear player these days with 6-5, 205 pounds, he is proud of offers from programs around the nation such as Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Michigan, Tennessee and others.
No Date of Decision for Native to Texas has been set. However, it seems that the Irish are currently a leader for King. That is, if the rating of the interest rates of 247Sports from “warm” for Notre Dame is something to pass. However, things can change after his official visits.
While the attention is only now to be turned entirely to the 2026 class, Longhorns already has only three commitments so far. A slow start, but it seems very likely to change in the coming weeks, when chief trainer Steve Sarkisian and Colorado continue to visit and talk with Class 26 prospects.
Texas begins the 2025 season in Columbus against the Ohio State Bunks on Saturday, August 30th.
