Texas Longhorns has grown in the AP poll after termination of the historic South Carolina Series – Sports Illustrated

Austin – After ending the historic victory, Texas Longhorm moved to South Carolina Gamecocks to # 3 in the AP poll. Before losing to Longhorns, Gamecocks had a 57-minute victory conference and had not lost a regular game since December 2021.

Gamecocks fell to # 4 in the ranking, dropping two places. Longhorns improved one place, moving to place # 3 just behind Notre Dame and Ucla. Bruins are the last unbeaten team in the country, and the Irish are the only team other than South Carolina to defeat Texas.

This week, Texas has its most difficult stretch ahead, facing two more top 10 opponents. On Thursday, Longhorns will travel to Lexington to play # 8 Kentucky and then return home to play # 5 LSU.

The chief coach Vic Schaefer and his team will take Monday and then return to the preparation for the game forward.
