Governor Greg Abbot leads Texas DPS to assist the Trump administration
What we know:
Texas Governor Greg Abat DPS directed DPS to offer tactical strike teams in support of the newly formed Homeland Security Working Group of the Trump Administration.
The aim of the group will be to find, arrest and deport nearly 5,400 unodocucted immigrants with active Varanti in Texas, according to the governor’s service.
Strike teams will include DPS Troopers, Special Agents and Texas Rangers.
What we don’t know:
At that time, it is not clear how many soldiers, agents and Texas Rangers will be part of the strikes.
