Tameka Kane, Greensboro, NC — Tameka Kane passed away unexpectedly, leaving family, friends and the communities she touched deeply saddened. Known for her warmth and generosity, Tameka, a devoted mother and wife, spent her thirty-eight years uplifting others. Her dedication extended through her work in health care, providing quality care and compassion to senior citizens in Norfolk, Virginia, Winston-Salem, and Greensboro, North Carolina.
As a young woman, Tameka found joy in helping those around her, and her commitment to service led her to work tirelessly for the comfort of others. She recently transitioned into the postal and delivery industry and was looking to start her own trucking business. She was preparing to build a future for her family, planning life insurance and a sustainable business, when her untimely death left her loved ones scrambling to give her a peaceful farewell.
To cover funeral and burial costs, her mother, Sylvia Pickle, organized a fundraising campaign. The community showed immediate support with donations from Beverly Hobbs, Stacey Campbell, Tonya Goss, Jacqueline Blackett and others.
Our deepest condolences to the family of Tameka Kane at this difficult time. May her legacy of kindness and strength be a source of comfort to those who loved her.
