Tallahasesee State College will receive a $ 500,000 donation from HCA Florida Healthcare in an attempt to support the next generation of healthcare professionals.
A ceremonial inspection was presented at a meeting of TSC trustees. In recognition of the donation, the Ghazvini Education Center at the Health Center will be declared a HCA Florida Health Simulation Laboratory.
“HCA Florida Healthcare is deeply committed to encouraging a strong pipeline by qualified professionals to meet the growing need for health services,” says Josh Udroff, Chief Medical Officer of HCA Florida Capital Holdion, one of 48 HCA HCA hospitals networkS “Our partnership with Tallahasesee State College ensures that students have access to advanced tools and resources for learning, ultimately improving the quality of care in our community.”
The donation will be used to use the financing through the connecting industry with the funding for nurses education provided by the legislative power in Florida. Funding aims to expand the Florida nurses education.
“This incredible gift from HCA Florida Healthcare emphasizes their dedication to education and workforce development,” said Heather Mitchell, Vice President of Institutional Progress and CEO of the TSC Foundation. “Together, with the support of the financing of the line and our legislative leaders, we create opportunities that are not only beneficial for our students, but also strengthen the health system in North Florida.”
According to TSC, an event will be held on a later date for the opening of a HCA healthcare laboratory in Florida, marking this cornerstone in the education of healthcare and the development of the workforce.
