Obituary

Sylvia Ann Fox Vaughn, born on January 21, 1935, returned home on 02.03.2025 to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Sylvia survived her husband, John Vaughn, son Danny Jang and his wife Annette, grandson Chad Mann, granddaughter Megan Malanio, Pasin Bob Fox and his wife Pam, step -daughter Shari Graham and Carter Williams niece. Sylvia was a resident of the Tidewater area almost all his life. He graduated from Warwick High School in 1952 and attended James Madison University. She has worked in banking for many years and has voluntarily participated in the Air Force Hospital in Langley. In her spare time, she liked to maintain a large yard of flowers in Chesapeake for the pleasure of all residents and collecting bunny figures. Her love for God and her passion for subordination to His Word are her inheritance. Her son Danny told her “of all the people I knew or met, no one was more deliberate than the kingdom of heaven than she was.”

Service and admission will be held at the HarperSville Road Chesapeake Retirement Community at Newport News VA in Chesapeake’s room on February 8 @ 14:00.
