The thieves were interrupted by law enforcement agencies and fled the scene before they could take money.

SEATTLE – Suspects used stolen construction equipment to breach an ATM in the Fremont neighborhood in Seattle early on Monday morning.

The incident took place on the site of Becu in the corner of Stone Wei and the 44th street. Seattle police officers were called at the scene at about 3am on a bank breakthrough report.

When officers arrived, they saw three to four suspects using a forklift to break into the building and tear off an ATM from the wall.

The thieves abandoned the ATM and a forklift and fled the stage in separate cars.

Police in Seattle said the suspects had failed to break into the ATM to access any of the money.

The forklift was stolen from a nearby construction site.

The photos and the video showed great damage to the building. It is not known what will cost the damage.

This is a developing story.
