Suspecting at Renault Police, shooting outside the famous hospital, died of injuries – Krnv

A suspect, who was shot dead by employees outside a hospital in Renault, after conducting police for a brief pursuit, died of his injuries, the Washo County Sheriff Service said. The suspect, whose identity was not released, died on Saturday, February 15th.

The incident began on Sunday, February 9, when the Sparks Police Department was investigating a case of domestic violence. Authorities had information that the suspect was no longer in sparks. The Renault Police Department joined the investigation and found a suspect and his vehicle near the streets of the 9th and Montello in Renault.

When the Renault police tried to stop the movement, the suspect was unable to comply with causing persecution. The pursuit ended at about 10:30 am in the parking lot of the emergency department of the Regional Medical Center Renown, where a firing was held with an officer.

The suspect was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were originally unknown. The employees involved in the shooting were not injured.

The shooting protocol included in a regional officer is activated and the sheriff of Washo County is a leading investigation with the help of the Sparks Police Department.

The investigation continues, and after it is completed, the findings will be presented to the District Prosecutor’s Office of Washoe County for review.
