Las Vegas, Nev. (Fox5) – Clark Coroner identifies a suspect involved in a shootout that killed a police officer in North Las Vegas.

This suspect was identified as 25-year-old Alexander Andre Matisse.

The officer reacted with other police officers in North Las Vegas in the area of ​​Camino Al Norte and Lone Mountain Road around 2:13 pm.

The officers tried to talk to the armed suspect who ignored commands and fled. Later, the suspect is again, even though he is armed.

After ignoring the orders to show their employees, the suspect approached the officers, which prompted them to open fire. During the shooting, police claims that Jason Roskov was shot dead many times, but managed to return the fire by hitting a suspect.

The officer and Matisse were immediately taken to the UMC, where they both died. The officer’s death was the first reported in North Las Vegas in 2017, when Detective Chad William Park died in a crash and since 1995, when officer Paul Raul Elizodo was killed when he suspected the gun and shot him.
