Supreme Court Skips Vermont Land Use Case Seeking Trial – Bloomberg Law

Renewable energy companies lost their bid Monday to have the U.S. Supreme Court review their case challenging a penalty imposed by the Vermont Public Utilities Commission without a trial.

PLH Vineyard Sky LLC, which is buying land for Allco Renewable Energy Limited’s solar projects, has filed with the city of Bennington, Vt., to designate its property slated for a solar facility as a “preferred site,” which is required by state law .
