Kostas Genidounias scored five big goals as Olympiacos cruised past Alex Bowen and CN Sabadell. Meanwhile, Savona, who will have the services of Marko Vavic before the end of the season beat Primorac Kotor 18-12 in a high-scoring affair.

During the game for the Eurocup trip, athletes from the USA team were in the pool. After a slow start last week, the Olympic bronze medalist Max Irving was accurate at Brescia’s victory over Apollo Smyrnis. He dropped two early goals to set the tone and finished the day with a hat trick. Another two-time Olympian Dylan Woodhead found themselves in a tough fight against fellow Greek club Panionios as they edged out Woodhead’s Vouliagmeni by one, 10-9.
Reko Waterpolo defeated HAVK Mladost in a match full of offensive attacks. Three-time Olympian Ben Hallock put in a strong performance for Recco, scoring three goals in a 16-13 victory, thwarting a five-goal effort by Jan Bušić.

On Day 2 of Serie A1 in Italy, four games were on the slate where Team USA supplemented. Ben Hallock and Recco cruised to a 12-7 win over Savona thanks to two Hallock goals. Meanwhile, TeleMar and Brescia saw a meeting between teammates from Paris Drew Holland and Max Irving. Irving and Brescia were the winners on the day, taking a 14-8 decision behind three goals by Irving.

Being at home wasn’t enough for Bologna De Acker, they lost by just one goal to SC Quinto 10-9. Tyler Abramson added a couple of goals for the hosts in the tight battle. It was the same result and the same result for an American athlete as To Quinn Woodhead eventual club Roma Via Nova lost to Florentia 10-9.

Last but not least, in Spain to play Division de Honor, CN Sabadell left no doubt as To Alex Bowen club cruised past Ruby 16-4.
