Stolen Vehicles at Peak Crossing – Mirage News

A man is in custody after the police have successfully deployed a tire deflation device (TDD) at the top crossing to stop the presumably stolen vehicle last night, January 31st.

Around 10.08, they were reported black VW Tiguan and Silver Hyundai Santa Fe, stolen from the peak residence.

Police, with the support of the Polair and Dog squad, followed Santa Fe in a rural property, where police successfully deployed Hillside Road’s TDD around 11.30 am.

A 40-year-old Leichhard man has been removed and helps police in investigations.

Before it is stopped, Santa Fe caused damage to the Weatherhead Road fences and Hillside Road.

The owners of the property who have damaged the fence as a result of this incident must contact Policelink at 131 444 and cite the QP2500188477.

The stolen Tiguan remains exceptional.

All witnesses or someone with the appropriate vision of Dashi or vision for vision of or a vehicle in the area last night is called to contact the police.

Police investigations continue.
