Stolen Cocker Spaniel Puppies Rescued – Yahoo News Canada

Four puppies were rescued by police after they were stolen on Sunday night.

The seven-week-old cocker spaniels were taken during a burglary in Callow, leaving their mother Freckle heartbroken, Durham Police said.

Officers have now located four of the puppies in the care of Bishop Auckland Police Station. One remains unknown.

A man and a woman were arrested for the burglary and remain in custody.

The puppies had only recently been weaned from their mother, who was on the property at the time of the theft, police said.
