Statehouse Republicans want to submit Trump’s Dei’s Trump policy, Elon Musk’s Dock in South Carolina – Post and Courier

Columbia-state leaders in South Carolina are ready to accept some of the large-scale reforms, President Donald Trump and his right-wing man, billionaire Elon Musk, are pressing at the federal level.

House President Murel Smith and House’s leader David Hyot have announced plans February 6 for proposals on initiatives pushed by Musk and Trump to reduce bureaucracy and terminate the government -sponsored practices, supporting diversity, justice and inclusion, such Dei.

The Anti-CI bill sponsored by reporter Doug Gilliam, R-Buffalo, will model the language in a recent executive order from the president who wants to end “Illegal Discrimination” and “Restoration of Merit” in the practices for hiring, employment and training of state and state contractors.

This would ban internal government policies, strengthening the DEI, which opponents characterized as a “unsuccessful experiment” in remarks to reporters, and would prevent the state from negotiating with external organizations that have their own policies on DEI.

“I believe that what is happening in this country, and to some extent in South Carolina has gone out of control,” Hiot, R-Pickens, to reporters said.

“We hear about talking about agencies that have created the DEI or Dei Office, and that their sole purpose is to make sure that this kind of things are taken care of to take care,” he said. “Such things must stop in South Carolina and this will make this bill.

“If you are doing business in South Carolina, you will not participate in Dei,” he added.

The group also announced a joint resolution with the Senate, sponsored by a response, “referring to the Ministry of Efficiency of the Government. Trump processes the Digital Service of the United States to create a Dodge and put on Musk.
