Delaware State Police arrested 34-year-old Thomas Hudson32-year-old Ashley Newcomband 37-year-old Alonza MosleyAll of Newark, Delaware, for several thefts and related accusations after a series of thefts from the All Saints cemetery in Wilmington last year.
Between September 2024 to November 2024, soldiers investigated numerous thefts of a similar character from the All Saints Cemetery, located on the 6001 Kirkwood highway in Wilmington. In each incident, 4 unknown suspects, carrying large bags/backpacks, penetrated the cemetery property after hours and stole bronze ceremonial vases from the individual tombstones. The suspects then fled the stolen vases in a car, which was parked nearby. During the 3-month period, the suspects stole nearly 200 vases that amount to over $ 100,000 in stolen property.
Through investigators, Troopers found that the suspects had sold the stolen vases at a recycling center in a new castle several times every 3 months. In addition, servicemen found that the suspects presented themselves to an individual using his identification to complete each transaction. After several months of investigation, soldiers ultimately identify the suspects responsible for thefts like Thomas Hudson, Ashley Newcomb and Alonza Mosley. On February 19, 2025, The troops complied with a search order and arrest orders for Hudson, Newcomb and Mossli at the Newark residence. All 3 suspects were taken in custody without incidents at the residence.
The investigation continues as the fourth suspect has not been identified at present. Hudson, Newcomb and Mosley were taken to Squad 2, where each of them were charged with multiple crimes.
Hudson was accused of the crimes listed below, appointed by the Court of Justice of Peace 2 and committed to Howard R. Young Correctional Institution of a secured bond of $ 23,300.

- Theft in which the value of the property is $ 100,000 or more (a crime)
- Sales of Value Stolen Property over 1500 or 2 or more previous convictions (offense) – 5 pieces
- Conspiracy 2nd Degree (offense)
- Graveyard theft
- Prosecution
- Criminal offense 2nd Degree
Newcom has been accused of the crimes listed below, appointed by the Court of Justice of Peace 2, and is committed to Delores J. Baylor for a female correctional institution for a secured bond of $ 24,800.

- Theft in which the value of the property is $ 100,000 or more (a crime)
- Sales of a stolen property over $ 1,500 or 2 or more previous sentences (offense) – 8 pieces
- Conspiracy 2nd Degree (offense)
- Graveyard theft
- Prosecution
- Criminal offense 2nd Degree
Mosley was accused of the crimes listed below, appointed by the Court of Justice of Peace 2 and committed to the Correctional Institution Howard R. Young on a secured bond of $ 23,300.

- Theft in which the value of the property is $ 100,000 or more (a crime)
- Sales of a value stolen property over 1500 or 2 or more previous convictions (offense) – 5 pieces
- Conspiracy 2nd Degree (offense)
- Graveyard theft
- Prosecution
- Criminal offense 2nd Degree
