Describing it as “Delaware’s most large asset”, Diamond State Port Corporation – Wilmington port warders and a major extension in Edgemoor – will audit the performance.

Delaware’s state auditor Lydia York says that what is called “Audit commitment” will look at the management of the corporations of hundreds of millions of dollars for the fiscal 2025, which ends on June 30.

This comes as the corporation board is in a stream. Delaware’s Supreme Court has been asked to determine whether the appointments of former governor Betani Hall-Long on her last day should be confirmed by the Senate or whether the withdrawal of governor Mat Mayer from the nominations is standing.

York says the audit will bring more transparency to how hundreds of millions of dollars will be spent, as well as in the operations of the Diamond State Port Corporation and the company EnSTUTURE.

A total of $ 200 million has recently been transferred to the Diamond State Port Corporation for the Edgemoor expansion project.
