Annual Spelling Bee in St. Paul Paul saw 22 students described as “Harvest from armor from spells” Director Jacqueline Mamford competes for the privilege of representing their school in the regional spelling bee for seven rounds. The action began quickly with two eliminations in the first round, the first word forgot to be “Fuel.” The fourth round included the most eliminations this year, when seven spellers, nearly one -third of the pitch, came out of the race, followed by the fifth and final circles with four eliminations each.
