SPEAL CARE OF THE PEALTH IS REGRARDED FOR EMERGENCY IN SENTARA IN VIRGINIA – WHSV

Harrisonburg, Washington (WHSV) – Eighteen Emergency Centers in Virginia are transformed as Sentara’s Emergency Aid, including one in Harrisonburg.

Sentara took over the full ownership of the speed in December 2023, followed by the adoption of Epic Electronical Medical Record by Velocity, according to a message from Sentara. The rebranet has now entered into force to turn emergency rooms in Sentraa official within Virginia, including the Harrison Center of the 3841 Stone Spring Road and Charlotteville.

“This branding process brings us a full circle in Sentara,” says Kurt Hofelich, Vice President of Outpatient Services for Sentara Health. “We are glad that we have returned emergency care in the family.”

Appointments to Sentara Emergency Places may be made at Sentara.com/urgentCare. Notes and results of patient visits will also be integrated into the Mychart Sentara system.

“Sentara’s speech care will provide our patients with a seamless relationship with Sentara’s Epic EMR,” says Barbara Smith, Vice President of Sentara Emergency Operations. “Being a part of Sentara encourages patient safety and care continuity,” she added. “Sentara is one of the most respected names in healthcare and we are happy to be part of it.”

Some of the services available at Sentara’s Emergency Room include care for diseases and injuries such as colds, cough, influenza, sinus infections, broken bones and dislocations, according to the message. Physical, vaccination, X -rays, laboratory tests, STD tests and services for employers are also available.
