Spartanburg-the most Nature Park of Spartanburg County 945-Decara will be open to the public in April.

Glendale Nature Park is adjacent to the northern border of Glendale Shoal, creating a protected green space of more than 1000 acres in the growing district.

“It is really important to have this special natural space for nature, a space where people can go and just go out here and enjoy the fresh air and exercise and really be in nature,” said the Kristen district parks spokesman Gipfos.

This trail card shows the uninvited paths planned for the Glendale Nature Park.

When it opens, there will be about 3.5 miles of inexperienced paths.

But people still don’t have to explore, Gupple said. This is because the signs have not increased and there is still a hurricane of helene.

“It is extremely easy to get lost and confused and not know where you are, because there are no signs in these paths deep in the park,” added Gupple.

When it opens, people can have access to the park from two inputs: one in Glendale Shoals and another paved gravel parking with ADA ADA parking on Chapel Road Lewis.

Last year, the conservation of the Spartanburg region helped the state buy the property from private owners with a plan to hire it in the county.

This plan is now gathering. The property is owned by the state and will be leased to the county without expenses, Gupple said. The county will support it.
