South Carolina, starting Chloe Kits against NC State, will play at Home Opener – AOL

Charlotte, NC – South Carolina’s Women’s Basketball, starting the Chloe Kits, is for the Saturday match against the NC State.

Minutes before Gamecocks (2-0) to face the floor to stand up to Wolfpack (1-1), the team revealed to X known as Twitter that KITS will not play due to a problem with academic policy.

Coach Dawn Steeli made a statement in the social media publication.

“We are disappointed that Chloe should sit today because of a problem with academic politics,” Staley said. “Chloe showed enormous growth both academic and athletic during the extra -season, demonstrating her commitment to high achievements in every aspect. As long as she is not able to play today, we are incredibly proud of her progress.”

Staley confirmed after the match that this was a situation with a game and that Kits would return on Thursday for the opening home against Coppin State.

KITS started 31 out of 37 games last year, and on Monday in the opening season was the leading goal scorer with 19 points and 14 rebounds.

Sanya Figin stayed in the starting lineup, and freshman Joyce Edwards made her first start, replacing whale. The usual trio of South Carolina guards began on Saturday.

Junior striker Ashlin Watkins, who was stopped from August 31 until Wednesday, returned her court.
