It was another big win at home for South Carolina, and this victory put them in the story book as they set a new SEC record for the longest win in the home game of 70 games.

Dawn Stale praised that Gamecock fans provided during this historic stretch.
“The community here in Colombia, South Carolina, has embraced our team and they poured into our team in such a way that they do not like to lose,” Staley said. “The loss here (at home) or on the road.”
The last time South Carolina lost a match at home was in 2020 against North Carolina. So keep in mind yourself for future opponents, if you want a chance to upset this team, we better hope to have an advantage of your home vessel.
