South Carolina baseball included in the MLB The Show 25 Gameplay Trailer – On3

If you have not been able to experience your dreams of playing a baseball at college, you will now have a chance to do it, though in practice.

As the new MLB, the Show 25 video game will be out next month, new gameplay and modes have been discovered in a trailer published by PlayStation on Tuesday. As the trailer says, “even a game, as harmless as baseball, must develop,” revealing high school and colleges, will be presented on the way to the show regime.

After showing a way to the show starting from high school, the trailer gives a look at the college teams that will be in the game. This is what the play label as “amateur years”.

It seems that South Carolina will be one of these college teams presented. In a clip from the trailer representing a baseball stadium based on the Charles Schwab field in Omaha, Nebraska, where the World World Series is played, the South Carolina logo appears on the wall of the field.

Other teams included are LSU, Tennessee, Ucla, TCU, Cal State Fullerton, Texas and Vanderbilt, making up a full field of Omaha of 8.

The game will include an authentic high school and audio at college, such as the clans of metal bats and the rattling of chain ties fences.

Already in 2021, EA Sports announced 10 college legend teams will be added for Madden NFL 22 video game. This meant you can play with Clemson, Miami (Florida), LSU, Florida, Oklahoma, Texas, South Cal , Nebraska and Michigan in Madden’s superstar mode. Three years later, a brand new football video game was released, EA Sports College Football 25. It was the first of its kind to leave EA after NCAA Football 14 in 2013.

Could this mean the same thing to happen for a college video game in the near future? Maybe. While it is important to note that the MLB show was created and developed by San Diego Studios. But this is the first real Baseball involvement in college in the game after MVP 07: NCAA Baseball, which was released on February 7, 2007.

The MLB The Show 25 will be released on March 18th. Users who pre -order for Digital Deluxe Edition, gaining early access on March 14th. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch.
